Absolutely! While balayage boards are designed for balayage, they can also be used for other hair colouring techniques that require precision and control, such as foiling and highlighting. Our carbon fibre balayage boards are perfect for the air-touch technique, with their 1 mm slim profile making it easy to get close to the root and manage the blown-out shorter hairs.

You can definitely work without a balayage board, and some highlighting techniques actually work better without it. However, many modern hair colouring methods involve blending motions that are easier to achieve with a balayage board, as it provides a stable surface. Plus, when foiling longer hair, the board helps with saturation and speeds up the application process.

Our 1 mm Carbon Fibre Balayage Boards are lightweight, durable, and feature both smooth and textured surfaces, making them perfect for hair colourists. Their slim 1 mm profile lets you get super close to the root for precise tight foiling, and they’re a must-have for air-touch techniques, helping to keep those flyaway short hairs under control.

We offer a variety of sizes to suit different needs, including extra wide and extra long options. There are three width and and four lengths of our balayage boards in total. The widths are as follows: Wide - 13 cm, Extra Wide - 16 cm, Super Wide - 21 cm. Lengths are as follows: Medium - 30 cm, Medium-Long 35 cm, Long - 40 cm, Extra Long - 45 cm.
